OK so I went to the docs today I'm 10 weeks pregnant with baby #3 and they said they found antibodys in my blood they took more test to see what one it is but they won't know until tommarow or the next day what does this mean? Will it hurt my baby o and I am rh negative they said that's why I have the antibodys? Please help

This is all very common, especially with a Rh- mom.

They are looking for a lot of antibodies actually, rubella for one.

Is Dad a negative or positive blood type?

I'm not sure I think positve our other two kids have ab positve so I guess he is positve I'm not sure

Okay, so they are looking for antibodies in your blood, along with other illnesses like I mentioned above, to see if you have an antibody to the Rh +.

If your kids are + and they have the same dad that this one has, you will most likely have to take the Rhogam shot. Did you have that with your second child? If not, you should have.

Yea I ahd to with both of my childern and they all have the same dad so what happens if I have rh + antibodys how do they treat it?

You just get the Rhogam shot again. It's really no big deal these days.

Thank u so much my doc did not explain anything to me and she had me really scared but thank u so much for clearing that up

No problem. Every woman gets an antibody screening during pregnancy. Your doc or the nurse should have explained all of this to you. It is all routine and really nothing to be concerned about.
