I live in Baltimore for four years,I have a judgement against me in New York,where I used to live,purchased by a debt collector, and also a repossessed vehicle loan,purchased by a collection agency.
My question is which is the most effective or better way to settle these debts;is it better to do it myself or hire a professional ,having in mind that the Professional will cut into the pool of available funds,but will bring in his/her experience?!
I will appreciate feedbacks from any one knowledgeable or had been through what I am going through.
