At this point you really need to see a doctor to find that out if you have fertility problems. Birth control is not likely to help you conceive, in fact it is more (99%) likely to prevent you from becoming pregnant while you are taking it. It you want to become pregnant you need to be tested and treated be you doctor.

I agree, being on birth control is not going to increase your chances of getting pregnant... they are simply used to prevent pregnancy or regulate a period. If you have suffered from irregular periods for a long time (like I have), I can be almost certain in telling you once you stop the birth control, you will go back to being irregular.

You need to talk to you doctor... have them do blood work to check your hormone levels to make sure everything is in the right ranges.

Your doctor can them put you on medication to regulate you. I take Prometrium for 10 days out of every month to regulate my period.
