I am crate training two shipoo puppies both 12 weeks old.They go in their crates for the night and go out every 3-4 hours at night.In the Day is my BIG PROBLEM! I take them out to go potty every hour or two through the day.Even if they go potty outside when they come in they will poo or pee on my floors :( I got tired of cleaning up the messes constantly so crated them through the day, and let them out to go potty and playtime.This way there is no messes in my floor all day long.They don't mess in their crates so when they need to go potty they let me know by crying or digging at the crate door.My question is *IS THIS WRONG to keep them in the crates in the day and why do they poo and pee on my floors even if they have just gone outside?

As I understand it, that is just what many suggest. It is not what I have been successful with many puppies. As I explained in your last question, it is OK to give yourself a break for a while, but getting there from here means leaving them loose and carefully watching them so you can take them out at the right time. Two puppies at once may be 4 times as hard as one.

Weenie, I am curious, what happened to the cockapoo that you had back in May? Is he still with you? How did the training go with him? What do you do with him when you are working with these other two?
