I have a Kenmore side by side model number 106 8566880. I opened the freezer side and the ice was melting. The fridge side is not cooling also. Do you think that it could be fixed? I have cleaned the coils on the bottom of the fridge but nothing is cooling.

Yes it can be fixed, just need to find the problem. If the coils are clean, is the evaporator fan and the condensing fan running? Post back with results. Also look insid the freezer compartment ant the evaporator coils, are the free of ice and frost?

Hi, No fans are running. There is no ice anywhere.I am getting a repairman here tomorrow afternoon. Thanks
