Dear friends,
The whole world is after six sigma. To some of you, it may be of interest to think about the future of six sigma. Any thoughts on this?

Are you meaning six sigma (http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Six_Sigma) or sigma 6 (http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Sigma_6)?

It's a business model of quality control, often used in project management. Theories of QC come and go, this one seems to have teeth though as it has stood the test of time and adoption rate but may be too stringent for many companies.

6-Sigma has already devolved into a buzzword that simply means quality metrics and controlled improvement. Most people that I've spoken with that proclaim to be 6-Sigma greenbelts and even blackbelts are charlatans. It's just something on their resume to advance their career.
