I just saw in the news that the soon to expire internet tax has been blocked again.
Due to expire on November 1st, the powers-that-be have pushed it back for another 4 years.

Considering the margin by which it passed, instead of just another short term moratorium, why not ban the taxation permanently?

Go figure. I wondered that too when I heard it. Must be so that in four years they can slap each other on the back for passing a bill with a united effort. Watch it on C-Span!
