Hello,
My fiancé needs help, he has recently been served with a child support for a child he has no knowledge of. Supposely the court is saying they served him once before in 1999. But he never was served and the funny thing is they say the person they served the paper too was of the age of 35yrs old my fiancé is only 30yrs old. Now because it has been more then 2yrs they don't want to submit him to a dna test. They have him running back and forth signing paper saying that he was never served and this seem as if this going to be along process. Can anyone tell me what can we do to take care of this matter. We just want to know if he is the father so he can start to be apart of the child life he as already missed 11yrs of the child life. So I asked is there anyway around this long process and if so what??

Thanks

Can he get the DNA test anyway. Maybe go on Maury?
Here are some sites that will do them. A friend of mine did one from one of these sites

free DNA tests by mail - Google Search (http://www.google.com/search?ie=UTF-8&oe=UTF-8&gfns=1&sourceid=navclient&rls=com.google:en-US:official&q=free+DNA+tests+by+mail)

I don't see how or why it can be legal for a guy to be railroaded into paying child support
When he contests if the kid is even his! I know once a birth certificate is signed by the guy
It is about next to impossible to get out of.

He can file a "Denial by father" in response to the papers he was served. This will show he is questioning the paternity of this child and a DNA test will be ordered.
