My cousin moved to Ohio 5 yrz ago and comes to visit 1 or 2 weekends a month,well this last weekend,her family kept her kids and won't let her have them.They have papers from 1999 basically giving them temporary custody,but they have been with her for the past 5 yrz.what we are trying to do is figure out how she can go about getting full custody now.Since she lives in Ohio,everything has to be done here in Pa. so I am trying to help her out.. her kids are 14 and 12,they don't want to go back to Ohio,but the places they are staying are both unfit which we plan on bringing up for the custody.we just don't know where to start or how to go about it.is there anyway we can file online papers? Any advice will help,and if you need further information just ask... thanks to anyone who can help.

I would definitely consult an attorney, but usually at the age of 14, the judge lets the children choose where they want to stay unless there's a severe case to show the custodial parents are unfit. Taking her children away when she has legal custody, however, is illegal.
