I never seem to get any, but I know its kind of an balancing act. I can tell you its been stressful, it is the third day of fever. The doctor experience on sat had it good points and bad points. Yes capt, about 35 miles south west of downtown. So far this year it hasn't been too bad, in the low 60's. Last year was COLD but very little snow. I spent a Christmas in Maimi once..it seemed a little strange...75 degrees. Palm trees w/ Christmas lights.......don't know....:)

If people get stuck in traffic, because they left too late/too early, the need to know whick way they should be going.
There's talk of reducing air time on the Weather Channel to reduce their air time to substantially less coverage! Because of poor calls.

I won't tow the corporate line. You are expected to say or acknowledge certain conditions base upon models, but the models have flaws that can't react to change quickly enough.
The proverbial new guy coming fresh hot and ready will get his wings clipped until he understand... you don't go against tradition.
This year the models for the southeast stated it was going to be a substantial hurricane season,. but it wasnt: we're happy. Builders and suppliers aren't, though! Last year they said it would be light, but it wasn't: we got clobbered and wet. We weren't happy but the builders and suppliers are! I say we count our blessings and park the trucks...

You're right! With some knowledge and a few of the better sites, you can predict the weather pretty close. The key is in learning long-term models. Time to watch things develop. I've dodged many weather systems in undersized boats by predicting where is the nasty going to next.

Well, I shy away from anyone that say they can predict the future. Kind of like the stock market. But, with the right knowledge and tools, we can come pretty close. It's those minute details that we forgot to account for that usually get us.
Plus, I believe it is all cyclic with different conditions triggering the cycles for longer or shorter periods.

Again, correct. And, it is all cyclic, and those cycles have an ebb and flow within that!

Get your data about winds aloft, jetstream at upper elevations, and you have what they call steering currents.

Follow frontal boundary data to see temperature change, and with moisture content: precipitation.

Or, you could stick your finger in your mouth and then stick it up in the air. That will tell you about the same thing. The precipitation is obvious.

Phys therapy is good, it will take time,but in the long run it is better than letting your body heal as it is Capt!

Firm, I just hate to bring you guys down! It isn't always fun to hear my troubles so I have to deal a little with it and come back with a little perspective.
