Well I went to the doctor yesterday for my pap smear.:p I was telling him that I was late for my period and that I should have had it no matter what. I last had my period on September 11th. Please remember that I also had my tubes tied when my last son was born. They had been snipped, burned and tied. I didn't think that it would be possible to get pregnant and so when I didn't get my period I started to get worried. I took 2 tests prior to my doctors visit so I would be able to tell him what else I did. They ordered a blood test to see if I was pregnant and my thyroid. I called this morning for the results and I got a call back saying that everything was fine. Tests came back negative. I don't get it  I am so confused right now. I have all the classic signs of pregnancy, but I am not pregnant.
Has this happened to anyone else? Any ideas or advice would be great

Once I had my tubes tied I stopped getting a period altogether. I get one a year now.

I did too. LOL
So you just stopped having a period? How old are you if you don't mind.

Recent weight loss or gain?
Mother Nature could just be playing a trick on you. It happens from time to time that we just skip a period out of the blue.

I haven't gained or lost weight. When I am stressed I still get it. I have never missed a period ever. I have been late a few times, but nothing like this.

It could be just one of those weird things that happens to us every once in a while. While you may be very regular, and you may get your period every month, sometimes this just happens for no apparent reason.

I hope so. I am going to wait and see what happens next month. :(

I'll keep my fingers crossed that you get the results you want.

I have my fingers and toes crossed at this point. I don't know what else to do.
I still feel as though something isn't right. Am I wrong to be thinking this?

You are not wrong, as tubals have been known to fail in the past.
Let me ask you this, it may help me...
When you had your tubal done, how old was your baby? In other words, how long after delivery was the tubal done?

He was 3 weeks early and I had a c-section. They took him out and did it right then and there.
I am having these nasty pains in my pelvic area like a sharp needle. My legs feel week and I feel like I am going to vomit. :(

Hmmm, then you may want to re-test.
The OB/GYNs in my area do not do a tubal until 6 weeks postpartum. Reason being is that all swelling is gone during that 6 weeks and there is less chance of the tubes "re-attaching" themselves.
Now, with that said, this could also be a very bad case of PMS.

They tested me at the doctors office and it was a blood test. Isn't that suppose to be the more accurate test? I asked the doctor if we needed to wait and he said no that we could do it right after they took the baby out.
I usually don't get the whole PMS thing and when I have my period or its getting close I don't like to eat much, if anything. Since I haven't gotten it I can't stop eating and I want everything that my eyes see.
