Windows XP with IE6 and Outlook
Suddenly all my EMails are printed in small print using any of my printers (HP and EPSOM)
I have re-booted the system and printed again.. same result
I can print in Word or any other documents and get full size print
However ALL my Emails use a tiny print.
Changing the FONT only effects the screen
Grateful for help
Sylvia

Hi,
Open Outlook Express. Then, at the top, click on Tools, then Options.
Click on the Read tab.
Then, at the bottom, click on the Fonts button.
Then across from the heading "Font Size", click on the down arrow to select "Medium". and click on OK.
It should now print in the normal size.

Hi Fredg..
Thanks a lot.. it is nice to know that someone out there is watching over me! However.. that did not work but deep in some HELP files.. I found this strange message
OE uses Internet Explorer as its print engine and any configuration in IE takes control. I had to Open Internet Explorer. Then VIEW - Text Size.. change it to Medium.. Save etc. and BINGO I was back in business.
It would seem that when printing a webpage this had been changed in order to get all the text from the page. Did not realise that this setting also effects the print engine with OE.
I was helping a friend so was not aware that they had made changes within IE but probably would not have connected the implications it could have on printing EMails.
Something to store in the old memory bank! Thanks again for your input.

Hi, Sylvia,
Thank you so much for your post back here. NO, I did not know that IE would control the font printing in Outlook Express, simply using the View and Text Size! Thank you for the information, I will remember that.
Why don't you start answering some questions here? You are good!

Hi Fredg
Thanks.. but I have enough problems running a small Help Forum here in Spain! We would welcome any input from you though! I teach small groups of expats.. mostly retired and wanting to use the Internet and Emails to maintain contact. My special interest is Video Editing which I find challenging.
Have a look at our webpage and I would welcome any comments and ideas and certainly input.
