My Case :
When I was in INDIA, I applied for H1-B in the year 2007. While my papers were being
processed, I came here on H4during the month of June 2007. While am in US I got my H1B approved and received my papers.
( I have I797C and I797B. )

Heard from my employer that COS cannot be done from H4-H1B as the H1B is applied when she was in Chennai. "Chennai" consulate is mentioned in I797B , so I need to travel to Chennai for H1B stamping .

Questions

1.which is a better option ? Chennai? Or canada?

2. Is there a way to change the stamping place from Chennai to Canada ? If so what to be done ? Timeline ?

3. What is the probability of getting a new H1B visa stamped in Canada ?
(I have only 2 yrs IT experience)

4. What is the procedure to book H1B appointments in Canada - US consulate ?

5. If in case of any problems in my H1B stamping in Canada, Can I travel
back to US with my H4 visa ? (I have valid H4 visa till Sept 08)

please provide me Your valuable suggestions and advises to make my path success.
