A man weighs 200 lbs at sea level. The following table gives his weight and distance d from the center of the earth.

D------4000---4500---5000---5500---6000
W-----200-----158----128-----106----89

How much would the man weigh on top of Mt. Everest which is about 4005.5 mi from earth's center?

Surely you've been given some guidance in class on how to do these? Personally, I'd use Newton's law of gravitation, but then it becomes a physics question, not a math question.

Also, there isn't really enough info in the question. The weight is given as at sea level, the table is in miles from the center. No conversion is provided (though we can be reasonably certain they're using 4000 miles as sea level, from the weight figures in the table).
