I have been dating this woman for about 9 months and she had just gotten divorced and we started seeing each other she just broke up with me and I am so much in love with her and she says that she is with me too but that she isn't over her ex yet. When we started dating I promised her that if we broke up that I would still be friends with her son and I would still love him and I do like he was my own. Am I crazy for wanting to still be with her and still loving her? And does any one recommend some one to talk to in midcoast Maine? I am having a very hard time

Sounds like she needs some space to heal emotionally. You sound like a great guy to care about her son. Tell her that you are there for her as a friend until she is ready for something more. You could contact a religious organization, a community center, a local counselors office, or a mental health clinic if you need someone to talk to. Check your local paper, there are often support groups for people dealing with depression and/or people who are depressed about ended relationships. Talk to a family member, a co-worker, or a neighbor. I'm sorry you are hurting. Hope this helps.

crushedovernover I think mainboy thought your Sig was the rest of the message to him

Holding on to anger is like grasping a hot coal with the intent of throwing it at someone else; you are the one who gets burned.

The only way to get her attention is to to absolutely nothing.

Divorcées require lots of space.

Get out of town for a while if you can.

And leave her be -
