Hiya just woundering is someone could give some advice on my current situation. So here it goes my persiod was due on the 12 and its ot come and its now the 16th so I'm a couple days late! I haven't been using any birth control for the last 6 months as me and my partner are trying for a baby. I have been experiencing stomach cramps the feeling of when I am going to have a period and back ache it could be just me wishfull thinking. I haven't been under stress lately I've just been having fun with it and I haven't been ill in a very long time I'm not on any form of medication so what do you think? Do you think its to early to take a hpt test? It would be much apprechiated for any advice you give thank shanni x

If you are four days late on your period than you can use a home pregnancy test. They have the capability to detech the pregnancy hormone as early as 4-5 days before your expected period. I know this because I just found out I was pregnant!

Go and take a hpt... and if that is negative... and you are unsure go call your doc... good luck... I hope you are... let me know

Since you are late on your period, its time to take a HPT.

Your levels of HcG double every 2 days... so if you get a negative, wait 2 days and test again... but make sure to use your first morning urine as the HCG will be more concentrated.

If you still get negative HPT's and still no period call your doctor and request a blood pregnancy test.
