My girlfriend broke up with me cause she thinks are relationship is going to fast for such a short time. She says it's a break and that she does really love me she is just scared to have a long term relationship but I don't know if that is true cause she wants to go out with some one else but she still loves me. I tried to get a more understanding on it and she says that she could be with me forever I'm the nicest and sweetest guy she's ever been with unlike her ex's who used to beat her but I'm not like that. This girl is the type of girl I would like to be with forever, I've had some ruff relationships and she doesn't do everything my ex's do like put me down , say terrible things and stuff like that. Even though me and her broke up we still act like were together but we both know that we aren't. And every day I get mixed signals from her about us.im so confused right now.

You could start by reading the first post on this thread above.
It's sad that your previous relationships did not pan out for you, and that her relationships were not the best. But to me, it's obvious that you both went too fast into a new relationship and it's hurting you.
Try and go back to square one with her and start over, only this time a little slower. Get to know each other better, i.e. hobbies, music, literature, taste in food. Take her out and meet friends. Don't work toward a 'couples only' state until you've both learned to be more comfortable with yourselves.
You are probably so surprised that she has treated you nice, and were not used to this. So, appreciate that she sees a nice person in you. You can also be a nice person without her if you have to. I'm not saying that's what will happen, but I think you went to fast this time around because it was so nice.
Give yourself and each other a chance. If it does not work, it's OK. You will still remember her in a positive manner 20 months or even years from now.
Good luck, and keep us posted.
