First off I'm only 12 but that's only a year away from 13 remember. And um this girl I like we were going to go out once and she said I liked you but I want to be single still. Then There was Friday activity night dancing and sports in gym. I didn't dance with for reasons ill keep to myself. And in class I can catch her staring every once on a while. We talk but not as much since she found out I liked her. Personally I think as a boy so if you want ignore this that she might want to go out. :confused:I know I'm a little *looks at sky for word* clueless.

As you grow and get older, so will our feelings. Liking girls can be confusing at your age, because it's new to you. Don't feel despair, sweetheart. The girl that found out that you liked her was probably a little shy or embarrassed, when your 12 or 13 you aren't sure how to act. Your going like a lot of girls and girls are going to like you, enjoy being a kid.

Stay cool. Just talk with her when you get a chance, be nice and treat her with respect. I agree with the other post about meeting new girls, learning what to do, comes with a little more age on you.
I know this can be a frustrating time, but hang in there. Be yourself. We all went through the same thing, learning what and what not to do, or what to say. Most of it comes from "personal experience". We learn a lot from our mistakes; and believe me, we all have had our share of those!

It sounds as if this girl probably isn't yet ready for any typical "boy-girl" type relationship. Give her time. Be friendly but don't pressure her. She'll come around pretty soon. Meanwhile keep your options open as there are lots of other girls around as well.
