I have asthma but haven't had any problem with it until the last year. It seems like every now and then I just can't breath. But that's not the problem... I keep getting this sharp and sometimes achy chest pain on the sides of my chest. I went to the doctor they took an x-ray and said it was nothing. Is asthma supposed to hurt? If so how much? It kind of scares me if you know what I mean.

Go see an allergist. They will best be able to treat the asthma.
