What does the vet say? I would normally be feeding a 2 month old Lab about 2 cups a day of Pro Plan puppy chow. Are you feeding a comparable concentrated, meat based chow, if so, will she eat that much or more? If she is eating 2 cups or more of a concentrated puppy chow, she should start to show a weight gain soon. I am very reluctant to suggest tempting a dog with rich food. Not only do you risk creating a picky dog that won't eat its dog chow, but the rich foods can ruin the pancreas. A little on the under weight side won't hurt, far better than over weight. It is even more important to keep large breed puppies lean than the smaller ones due to joint problems.

Please ignore it if any poorly informed people suggest different rich foods. Few people have enough experience to know what is best for a puppy. Anybody can post here.

I do want to say how pleased I am to hear the puppy survived. It has been a bad year here. Time after time I have urged prompt medical attention, and later the person reported the puppy died of parvo. It is a horrible, nasty disease killing many new puppies that somebody has just fallen in love with.
