Our 14 year old mini, Skeeto, has lost a bit of everything over the last 12 months - hearing, sight, mobility, spunk - but she at least was eating. Within the last 2 weeks, she has gotten very sick and now has a very selective appetite ranging from none to a bit. Rarely does she seem hungry. She's lost a lot of weight, throws up undigested food sometimes a few hours after eating, and has diarrhea. The vet ran tests and discounted kidney failure, though she has had inflammatory bowel syndrome for years. She'll now only eat pure chicken (most of the time) with a bit of quiche mixed in. She will not touch dry or canned food of any sort. She is taking meds for the acidity level in her stomach and for food motility and is actually doing a bit better now, but she can't stay on chicken forever. What sure-fire food is there out there that is good for her and that she'll want to eat? I just want her to eat and get her strength back. Thanks.

There really isn't any. Keep working with the vet. If the vet can find and fix a problem, she will start eating again.
