Hiya, we moved into a new house 2 weeks ago, we have a ten month old girl bullmastiff, since living here she will not eat, we have tried everything that she loves from, chicken wings to biscuits, rice pudding, you name it we have tried it, she does not eat even 1/8 of what she normally would.

We took her to the vet who said she may have an infection, as had a slightly high temp, gave us antibiotics, bin on them for a week, but still no joy, when we first noticed her not eating, she seemed extremely quiet, like she couldn't be bothered to do anything, but now if u play with her you would not know anything was wrong, unless u put food down.

We took her back to the vet as there was no improvement, they took all the diff types of bloodtests, all came back fine.

Now they want to do x-rays but she's not limping or anything.

We are really frustrtaed as we don't know what to do, also anything that she does it, she will not take out of her bowl, will only take it if we give it her, or put it on floor, and in small chunks, thought maybe prob with her mouth, but all OK.

any ideas??

Go ahead with the X-rays. She could have some sort of an obstruction. Stay in touch with the vet.

Moving disrupts a dog's routine. It could be she is upset about it. Give her plenty of attention, playing fetch with her if she is up to it. If not, just plenty of petting and loving on her.

I would go easy on the rich food. A temporary fix that can lead to lasting problems with a picky dog.
