Hi; I installed win xp pro, but when I got to the point about partition, I did not know that I have already a partition (my Hd is brand new? ) so I choose whatever was highlited and at the end of the installation I noticed that the drive C is only 9g but my HD is 80 g, I do not find the other 71g, I can see all my hard drive in the bios.
So I was thinking that maybe if I removed completely windows and star from cero (clean install) I can make a better choice.
Can I do that? Or what should I do?
I tried already with partition magic but does not want to get install, so I want to leave it in peace for now.
If is possible what will be my best option about the partition when installing win xp?
Thank you

Check to see whether your drive has been formatted for FAT32 or NTFS. If its NTFS then you may have trouble reckognising all your drive capacity. Try Fdisk (ing) your drive and repartition if you want it so. You will need to reload windows as all drive content will be erased

Hi, I used disk management and now everything is fine, I can see all the hard drive, at the same time I made a couple of partitions. The problem was that the rest of the hard drive was not formatted.
Thank you
