I have a Sears tractor that I want to obtain some V-belts for. The Sears numbers are 148763 and 137153. What are the generic belt sizes that would replace these?

Well, first of all, I would recommend using only oem belts. They may not be that much higher than the aftermarket,"generic" belts you are referring to. Gates does make good belts, but I would still go with the oem belts by ayp. Ayp makes the craftsman series.
