I really don't want to sound like a whinging ole woman but I'm sure what I'm going through is not normal, I had such a bad pain down real low in my groin on the right hand side, I have never suffered period pain but I'm sure this is what it was as two days later I came on my period. The pain did not go away at all, I was taking nurofen plus an a lot more than I should have, but as soon as they wore off the pain was incredible,

My period lasted 8 days which is unusual, usually just 5 days, The bleed was v. heavy and I lost a load of clots. But since my period I have had pain during sex, and also, to do a number 2 brings the pain bk in just the same place. Only for the moment I'm on the loo. What you thinking girly's

Time for a visit to your GYN. It sounds as though (and I can't diagnose properly without an exam and knowing history), that you may have suffered a spontaneous abortion, a/k/a miscarriage.

You really should have this checked out.

This probably does warrant a doctor's visit. It would be one thing to have period pain and a heavy discharge. Its more when you have lasting pain that continues after the fact. It could be as J_9 suggested, it could be cysts, it could be several things.

Make an appointment and write down all of your symptoms so you don't forget to discuss anything while you are there.

Hey ladies, just getting bk to you about what the doc said, well I explained all my symptom to him an he had a prod ov me belly. Then he sent me straight thro to get a swab for a clidimer test, sorry if that's spelt wrong, I had one ov these done in December last yr, I'm sure this is a wast ov time but I'll see what the results say in a weeks time an take it from there.
