I changed the clutch on my Honda CRX 1.6 VTEC 90-91 a week ago and in the process snapped the Solinoid on the Starter Motor. I have since reconditioned this Starter Motor and now a week later when I tried to start the car it turns over, but is not starting. I did a pressure test and there is no compression across all 4 pistons. The timing is all correct, the plugs are firing and the fuel is coming through. What can the matter be? Please help.
Cheers.

Remove distributor cap, and see if rotor turns while cranking.
You are positive engine is turning, not just the Starter?

The cams are turning and the crank is to I will check your idea tomorrow though anything else would be helpful though thank you. Could I have moved the flywheel out by a tooth or two when doing the clutch do you know where I could get a cam belt timing diagram.

If you like this car, buy the Service Manual, it shows cam belt alignment, and will answer many questions. Also has a troubleshooting chart. If the flywheel only contacts starter, then not that.

Good deal, distributor timing out of wack would not affect compression.
Probably starter worked so good, may have appeared no compression.
