I just stick mine in the window for a day or so

Might be too late now, but put a banana nearby... it gives off some sort of gas that causes fruit to ripen... ever notice if you have a fruit bowl and there's a banana in it... other fruit (if it lasts that long) goes off rather quick... hope it helps for next year... heard of putting them in a brown paper bag in fridge works, but haven't tried that... stick to the banana method

Thanks for your idea, never heard of that one.
Shouldn't be a problem as bananas are one of my staples!
Have a good holiday season!
Thanks,
Dobson

You can also use brown paper bags.

Just in case they don't turn red, nothing like a good fried green tomato

No probs... also another purpose for bananas... when you are munching them, save the skin, chop into little pieces and dig into the soil when u are planting roses... see, u like the bananas and the roses like the skins! Take care
