My 1998 Toyota Camry auto shift gear light went off last week.
What should I do to replace it? Where to start un-assemble the parts to reach the light bulb?

Console must come out. 2-12mm at bottom of center compartment. Pop shifter bezel up and out. Disconnect power outlet socket. Shifter plate may need to be popped up to get some accessiblity. Takes a regular 194 bulb. (peanut bulb)
After you get done, you'll know why we're sooooo expensive at the dealer. :mad:
