It involved several men who had gotten together for a mini-reunion. They had gone to college together sometime in the 1930's or 40's. They had gone out drinking, and they got involved with a "loose" girlfor the evening. I forget the whole plot but I think she ended up getting knocked out by one of them accidentally, he thought he killed her, and to cover all of this up, they put her in the backseat of a car and pushed the car into a lake or river. All these years later, after a series of events, they realized that they needed to bring this car back to the surface and it doing so, they determined that she in fact had NOT been dead when the car first went under. When they opened up the back door, she, who had been "whole" in the backseat, ended up disintegrating. Anyone remember the name of this movie?

I know exactly what you're talking about! I can't remember the name though. I'll see what I can find.

People inquire about this one a lot. I saw it in its original release way back in the day, and it really wasn't that great... BUT the scene that everyone remembers, with the car going into the lake as the supposedly-dead Alice Krige revives at the last second and begins pounding on the back window while the vehicle slowly sinks... okay, THAT was scary.

Stardust713 agrees: You are a movie trivia God. And I was about to go insane waiting for you to come along and answer this one.

Eh, I just been on a winning streak lately. Two weeks ago, I couldn't answer a single dang question. It comes and goes.
