I am having some problems with my ivy plant, but I'm not sure what kind of ivy it is, or if it is even truly ivy at all. Can anyone identify it for me? Also the problem is that it is getting white/tan translucent spots with dark brown edges as well as some leaves have edges that are turning dark brown and drying out. The leaves in this picture are not my plant and my spots don't look like these, but this is the only one that I found online that looked similar. Of course, it didn't have a name, it just called the plant ivy. Any help would be greatly appreciated.

Thank you again,
Joanna

Looks like Hedera.

Here's a link that might help. (http://www.ivy.org/care.html)

My plant most closely resembles the "Eva" on that site, only mine does not have the white veins. It is completely green.

For each speces of Ivy there are many variants... usually varying mostly on what area of the world you live in.

Ivy care is not too different for the varying types, but to be sure, take a piece of it to a local plant store to correctly ID it and get the scoop for the best care for your area.
