My laptop mecer 755s14 is failing to start up. It shows a massage 'configering usb controllers' on the start up screen. It does not proceed any farther. I don't know how to reset its bios or get into bios.

Don't go for new one, first try the following:

*When you put you notebook on, press(tap the hole time) "F2" key until your in the BIOS
*Go to Exit
*Load Optimal Defaults, press enter and then enter again to OK
*Save Changes and Exit, press enter and then enter again to OK
*BIOS Reset complete...
