I am 42 and I have had a normal period for most of my life. Well I have been bleeding and clotting since late August and all of Sept thus far. I have no pain but I can feel the clots discharge. I have an appointment on the 18th of OCT should I move the appointment up is this an emergency. (note: the woman in my family go through menopause early).

You might be going though menopause. And just think if you are, then you wount have to worry about your period anymore... YIPPIE! LOL I would push up your appointment, just to be on the safe side, its always better to be safe then sorry you know? I hope everythings OK... Take care
