Okay so I have never used this but maybe I'll get some useful information. I think I may have some kind of infection. My husbnad and I will not have insurance until Nov 1 due to his new job but I may need to see a doctor ASAP. Saturday night I had such bad pain in my left side it felt like I needed to go to the bathroom but that didn't help. It was gone by the next morning. Then I felt the sensation of tingeling and having to urinate every second, even after I had emptied my bladder. ANd it still is continuing today... I literally am drinking 8 glasses of water a day and cranberry juice. The thing is I am not in any pain, just discomfort by the constant need of having to urinate. Should I go to the doctor and pay the bill later or wait it out until I actually am in pain and know something is wrong?

You can get that diagnosed at a corner doctor's office which will most likely only cost you a couple hundred bucks (doctor's visit + lab.) Call them and ask how much.

Six weeks is a long time to wait - you don't want it getting worse.

I would not wait it out. A bladder infection can spread into your kidneys and that will be a MUCH bigger problem.

Call your doctor and explain what's going on. Tell them that you don't have insurance right now but know that you need to see them. Most doctors will work out a payment plan with you of some kind.
