Ok, here's the story. I was with my boyfriend(anthony) for 15 months and then we broke up. We stopped talking and dated around and now we are talking again but here's the tricky part. One night my mom and I got into a fight and she told me to leave so I did just that. I left and ran away to a gas station and had anthony pick me up and take me to my best friends house. I asked him not to tell my mom where I was. So, when she came looking for me the first person she went to was anthony and said where is my daughter did you pick her up etc etc etc. He said no no no and every time she asked him he stuck to no! So she finally found me and now she absolutely can't stand him because he lied to her but now we are basically together again just un officially we do everything a couple would do except go out on dates and stuff because I don't know what to tell my mom. I have asked her to forgive him and I've tried everything even he has apologized and she's just being really stubborn about the whole situation and its stressing me out and I don't know what to do! So please help me and give some good advice. Thanks!

I will assume your 18 unless told otherwise. Anthony had a responsibility to you when he said YES I'LL DRIVE YOU TO YOUR FRIENDS knowing you didn't want your mother to know where you were. I would have done the same and after the smoke cleared I would meet with the mother and let her know I understand how she feels and hope she too knows how I felt and that in a relationship each person will care for the other and will stand together. Anthony shouldn't feel uncomfortable talking with your mom and weather she accepts him as your friend or not is not relevant. Good luck.
