I want to find the solution of newfolder.exe virus manually without using any software. Also give me the brief detail about New Folder .exe virus.

Actually newfolder.exe is a part of a worm spread through KaZaA. It is part of a larger worm entitled "W32.HLLW.Ssdx". It copies itself as: C:\MSDOS.exe, C:\My Documents\Windows.exe, and C:\NewFolder.exe. The Symantec Website describes the worm here (http://www.symantec.com/security_response/writeup.jsp?docid=2003-053009-5408-99&tabid=2), but the removal is easy. It is explained on the site. I would suggest just running a scan from either AVG AntiVirus (http://www.download.com/3000-2239_4-10741647.html), Spybot Search and Destroy 1.5 (http://www.download.com/Spybot-Search-Destroy/3000-8022_4-10743107.html?tag=lst-0-1), and McAfee Site Advisor (Firefox) (http://www.download.com/McAfee-SiteAdvisor-for-Firefox/3000-11745_4-10663377.html), or McAfee Site Advisor (Windows) (http://www.download.com/McAfee-SiteAdvisor-for-Internet-Explorer/3000-2144_4-10663376.html).
