Hello,
I live in Los angeles .Ibroke my housing lease as I was transferred to another job
Location 77 miles from my previous job site. Is there any California housing law that exempts me from paying any penalty as I am working with the same employers?

First it is not a good idea to piggyback your question on someone else's thread. This can get confiusing. So I moved your post to its own thread.

Second, no state has a law that allows a tenant to break a lease because of a job transfer. The only exception I know if is for military personnel who are relocated.

What I would do is talk to your company. Many companies have relocation programs that will reimburse employees for such things. If not, then see if you can sublet the unit or work out a buyout with the landlord.
