When we moved here from Alaska, I got rid of everything except a few really nice gifts and such... I did end up putting the turtle on the dashboard, we drove from Alaska to Oregon with two kids and a 1 month old baby... oh geeze what a wonderful trip in every way. I don't know about you but 6 years has passed and holy crap! We had to make 6 trips with the truck and a really big trailer to get it all here. I thought I got rid of lot's but I guess I can't let some things go that easy. Goodness girl, you will love yourself when you get there and you only have half of what you got now! LOL

I have a hard time getting rid of stuff too, I'll probably cry as I'm throwing it in the dumpster.. lol. I have a really hard time with change. My family and I have made our life here, and now we have to uproot and move, I hate that!

The moving has come to a complete hault. The Navy just informed us today, 3 weeks before moving, that they won't ship our belongings. Gee, thanks Navy.

Now we are scrambling to pack and find a UHaul... sheesh! I'm sorry, but when it comes to taking care of their people, the Navy is good for nothing.

He has been to Iraq 3 times, and they decided after the third trip that he had to pay back all the money they gave him for the time he took off from work. He owes them about $48,000! THey had just had their 3rd kid too, and he missed her being born and the first 8 months of her life. They have been struggling but they are strong so I know they will survive! YOu are strong too and I hope things work out for you, one way or the other. I wish you guys the best.

They are way over my head and it goes way beyond what I can do for them with the other kiddos around... So as it goes they are switching schools and Friday will be their last day here. When my son was two, we would go to mommy and me class and after he was down trampling all the smaller children, he would head over to the kitchen area. He and his little buddy Russell, (who looked like a giant) would make each other pretend food and sit at the table and pretend to eat and drink it.. IT was so adorable. They would dress up in these ridiculous costumes and sit there pretending to eat their plastic food. I just loved their unawareness of everything around them. Kids are so awesome when they are being creative and imaginative... makes me want to be one tooooo...

I have been a bit on the short side lately. I don't usually get PMS, but the doc put me on Provera to jumpstart my period, so I get really tired on that, and I am a bit mean. At least that is what my hubby says.

My friend -who was pregnant at the time - used to say to her husband when he asked her what she did all day... "I am growing our baby, what did YOU do?"
