My husband and I have been trying to conceive for a year now. I was on the pill forever and I know it takes time to get out of your system. I try not to stress about it but it is so hard because we want a baby so bad. I thought for sure this month I might be pregnant but I started my period right on time, although it was really light and quick. Could I still be pregnant?

It is very unlikely that you are pregnant if you had what you thought was your period. Buy a home pregnancy test and follow the directions if you are in doubt.
There are lots of online resources for this. Learn when your fertility is at its peak, and schedule intercourse for that day. Be patient, and try, try again. Relax and enjoy the process, as stress is not helpful for conception.
If several more months go by without success, then you and your husband should think about visiting a fertility specialist.
