Hi all, I need help! I was cleaning up my desktop and I seemed to have cleaned away my audi! I have no sound on my Sony Vaio laptop now and no volume icon. I went to the 'start menu' clicked on 'sounds and audio devices' and it says 'no audio device' PLEASE PLEASE, CAN ANYONE HELP?

First try rebooting. If that doesn't help, right click on My Computer and go to Manage. Click on Device Manager. Do you see a yellow exclamatino point anywhere in there, or a red X? If you see a red X by anything to do with audio, right click it and enable it. If you see a yellow exclamation mark, try reinstalling the audio drivers. There should be a Drivers CD that came with the laptop, or you can downlaod them from the Sony website.

Thank you so much, I downloaded the drivers from the website and my audio is back!
