I don't know how popular your salon will be -- The fact that this site uses it for their show

Does not mean you can't use it - You are not competing with interior designers

You might even send her an email -- And ask if she minds if you use the name

How about Hello Beautiful Salon

If you want to, check with your county. That's where I had to clear the business name I wanted to use. They told me, as long as I'm not competing with another business in the county, the name was okay. If someone in Florida or Indiana or Timbuktu or even outside the county (and would have entirely different clientele) had the same business name, it was not considered competition.

In your case, you will be doing business under your own name with the variant spelling of "Devine".

Very helpful answers above!

I think that your name that you have chosen is cute and catchy. But, if you want to show up more towards the beginning of searches on the Internet or people finding you in the Yellow Pages of the phone book, then I would suggest something really nearer to the beginning of the alphabet.

If you are interested, then how about something like, Absolutely Devine Design.

Just a thought.
