Is it basically as simple as going to the place the theft happened and giving them the money (or item)? (it was money that was stolen).
What if you can't go onto the property without being charged for trespassing?
Does it really help you out in the long run?

Hello cherrichik
No, that's not the legal defination of restitution.
Does it help what?? If you were arrested and charged, it WILL help if you pay the money back. You can't WALK on the property?? Every heard of the mail??

I don't want details. I'm fine, thanks. If you need help trying NOT to get charged, hire a lawyer.

It's not the not getting charged part that I want help about... I just want to know what's going to happen more than anything... Or at least what I can expect...

Well first you get an attorney to work out a deal for you if you are going to be charged, Paying back the money is a sign of confessing, you don't confess EVER without talking to an attorney first
