And your router is working properly, when you search for available networks, you find one ?

Have you used a wire to the back of your router to your computer to be sure there is a active internet ?

Have you went to someone in town that has wireless available and attempted to log into their system.

If you have just added a wirerless router to your home also, have you configured it to your IP server

There should have been a disk that came with your router ( not your computer) if you just started wirerless, you had to go buy a router to hook up to your high speed interent coming into your home.

So when you hooked up the router, you would have connected it by a wirer to a computer, you would have then used the disk with the router and followed its insturctions to get the router up and going.
