Hi

I have not been feeling myself for the last few weeks, and am away travelling so is difficult for me to go to the doctors, just wondering if anyone could shed some light on my symptoms please? They are as follows;

Shaky and lightheaded occaisionally
Sick feeling, usually in the evening, but never actually sick
Gone off things I usually enjoy, alcohol being one of them
I take the pill and my period was a few days late, I did however come on I FINISHED MY PERIOD 10 DAYS AGO, but now I am having a small amount of reddy brown discharge everyday (for the last 7-10 days), also getting cramps.
Also very emotional, crying and getting very irritated.

Any suggestions would be appreciated.

Thanks

Cjb

That happened to me when I got off the Depo shot for birth control, it was the shot that lasted 3 months. Once it was no longer in effect, I started spotting everyday for 6 months. I would get light-headed and had mood changes all the time. I asked my doctor and she said it was just a way for my body to get back to its regular schedule. After 6 months of spotting, I finally returned to my regular menstrual cycle.

when did you start taking the pill?

Hi, I started taking the pill around 4 months ago, and to be honest I have missed taking it a few days every month, stupid I know.

The pill is not effective if you miss a dose. Why take it if you are not going to take it seriously

When you first start taking the pill(especially if you are missing doses often/taking them irregularly) it is very common to have irregular periods, and due to the hormonal changes of the pill on your body, It would make sense to have the moodiness in the beginning as well. Traveling and stress are also most likely playing a part in it. However, if this continues on, you may want to consult with your doctor.
