The problem began with the engine not re-starting after the engine was hot. (turned the key - no cranking) If I waiting long enough for the engine to cool the engine would fire. Then it reached the point where it would only start once for the day and if turned the engine off it would not start again (no cranking). A week ago when I tried to start it I got two small cranks which didn't turn the engine and it hasn't started since and hasn't cranked since - again I turn the key and there is no noise. I just put a new battery in the mower and have the same result, turn key, hear nothing. I can't get anyone to come to the house and the grass keeps a growing. Any suggestions? Please help. Thanks ~ Frank

Did you possibly hook the battery up wrong? Have you checked the fuse? If the unit ran until hot, died and would not restart, then cool down and start, then got to where it would run only the first time and would not restart until cooling until the next day, then the coil is more than likely gone bad.
