Can someone PLEASE give me instructions on how to disconnect the annoying buzzer on my kenmore series 70 dryer?? It no longer shuts off after the cycle's done and I just want it gone. Thanks- Nicole

Under neith the console panel folded up will be a wiring diagram. Find the buzzer on it an dwire around it. Many models have a buzzer off setting on them.

The wiring diagram is on the panel that I removed, but it's like a foreign language to me. I know this much, the buzzer is connected to a black wire and a tan wire. I'm assuming the buzzer is this little box, but it has a brown wire not tan. I removed it, plugged it back in, and tried to set off the buzzer. The dryer worked, but the buzzer didn't. I'm thinking I fixed it, but I'm worried that I may have disconnected something I may need and possibly start a fire or something. Should I be worried?
