So recently, like in the past week, my dog has started acting weird. Most of the time she will her normal, lazy self. Lately, seems like at night, she begins to paint very heavily, her eyes begin to water, she tucks her tails down, and she walks around like she has no idea what to do. Her heart also beats very fast. Tonight, she is even worse. She began trembling and the heart is beating unbelievably fast. I tried searching on Google for the symptoms, but I am just no getting anywhere. Obviously, she needs to go to the vet, but no one in my family has time to take her. I am going to atempt to get off my first job tomorrow or Thursday and try to take her in, but I thought I would see if any could help me here. I do not think its heat exhaustion because it just doesn't fit. She has lived here all her life, doesn't make sense why it would happen now and at night. Any help, comments, suggestions would be greatly appreciated. By the way, she is a 9 year old rat terrier. Thank you.

Even if you were able to figure out the problem, likely you would need the help from a vet to fix it.

Well the doc said she has some back problems which might be causing her to have these symptoms. Maybe she just gets pains sometimes and just gets scared. He gave her a shot and some medication. Hopefully it works, I can't go many more sleepless nights with work at 5am.
