I am renting a condo which has a Kenmore stackable washer and dryer. I try to not stuff too many clothes in the dryer but it seems like I have to run the dryer twice for each load that I put in to it. Is it possible that the heating element is just not as good as it used to be since it's probably pretty old. My landlord had someone flush out the vent to make sure it was not clogged up but it just doesn't seem to be getting especially hot inside of it. What can I do on my own to see if it is in fact he heating element as my landlord doesn't seem to want to do any more about it?

Thank you. :)

More than likey it is an airflow problem. At least the exhaust hose is clean, however, the blower and blower vent inside the unit is clogged with lint. You will have to open unit up and clean it all thoroughly. Not only will you reduce your drying time but also reduce your electric bill. This eill be the only way to correct your problem

Thank you, I will let my landlord know, and hopefully this will correct my problem.

Thanks again.:)
