Last year my daughter bought me a new car for my birthday. This was to show appreciation for 8 years of pretty much being a full time nanny. She is still making payments on the car, so paperwork is in her name, the insurance, which I pay is in my name.

At the time, she gave me a card saying this was a gift from her to me with no strings attached.

She has since gotten remarried and now wants the car back. Is there anything I can do. I live in the state of Oregon.

Tell her no. Gifts cannot be taken back. As long as you have that card, you have proof it was a gift.

P.S. please do not post the same question multiple times. Your other post will be deleted.
