SO I have always been a girl to be moody and an angry person. I always get mad at the smallest thing. The smallest things light this extremely short fuse and I blow. Every time. I have tried several times to notice it and try to correct it by being aware when I am angry but the moment I am angry I can't think of anything else other than my internal pain. My temper is so short though that I am destroying my life. What do I do. I bring it out on my relationships with men and It is just making my life horrible. Please help me!!

I have to admit that I too was a very mad person inside. I would pound the steering wheel, yell at the check out clerk for not being fast enough, make rude comments to people who looked at me differently. I was a very angry person. I found the root of my anger was that I was in a relationship that I was not happy with and this was my avenue to vent. I was not man enough to stand up to her so I took it out on the easy targets. Once I decided to get divorced my life changed. Everyone who knows me has even said so. I don't sweat the small stuff anymore because I simple don't care about it. I feel like a huge weight has been lifted off my chest and I am living for me. I can honestly say that I am happy.

You need to find that catalyst of your anger. There is a root cause and you need to address it. Once you do, you will feel like a million bucks. Trust me I know. This past year has simply been one of the best years of my life. The next one can be yours if you take those hard steps and find your demon. Good luck.

My guess - you are in pain, and are trying to protect yourself from more pain. Get some counseling so you can be supported in figuring it out, and learning how to slowly make positive changes. Do it now - don't let more life go by feeling badly.
