Hi everyone, my question is can prenatal vitamins, result in weight increase and mildacne/spots on face??

I'm asking this because I have been trying to conceive since May 2007 (no luck yet):( , and my husband went out and bought me Pregnacare - (in UK) to help me conceive. Since june/july id started noticing a slight weight increase, even though my diet hasn't changed, usually very healthy, and I also started getting little spots/pimples under the skin on my forehead and cheeks, which sometime come out as very red sore spots and then leave a mark on my face. I thought what this might be, and put together everythin I've been doing for last few months, the only thing different is me taking these vitamins. Now I don't want 2 stop taking them because I really really want to get pregnant.

Has this happened 2 anyone before? All answers welcome

I haven't heard of them causing anything like this. Weight gain and acne could be caused by hormonal changes or increase in age. Sometimes this just happens. If you still are uncertain you could always change the type of vitamin you are taking.
